SmartAmp configuration is now easier than before with version 3.00 SmartAmp Configuration tool. The application has been reworked from the ground up and replaces the previous SmartAmp Updater Tool 2.00. This article gives an overview of what's included in the new software.

UI Improvements
A visual overhaul brings the familiar colour palette of WebApp to the SmartAmp Configuration Tool. Version 3.0 now has the option to switch between light and dark mode.
Updating Firmware
SmartAmp Configuration 3.00 makes updating your SmartAmp simple.
Previously, the Updater Tool would require you to select the correct firmware and DSP versions for your connected SmartAmp.
Version 3.0 holds both these updates and automatically pushes the correct firmware to a connected SmartAmp. Full details on updating firmware can be found here - SmartAmp - Installation & Firmware Configuration.
Custom Configuration
The Custom Configuration page adds powerful new features for your SmartAmp. Giving you full per-output control over routing, impedance, EQ, crossover, limiter, delay (up to 60ms).
Speaker Presets
Alongside our full range of Optimal Audio loudspeakers, SmartAmp is now able recall a wider range of loudspeaker presets for products from our sister brand Martin Audio.
Delay
SmartAmp now features assignable delay for each output. Maximum delay time is 60 milliseconds (ms) and the unit type can be converted to a distance measurement in either feet (ft) or metres (m).
Tone generator
Each output now has a tone generator under the Routing tab.This allows installers to pinpoint and test individual outputs without the need for line input signal. Select from sine or white noise tone from the dropdown.
A report of your SmartAmp settings can now be exported as a .pdf file.
Available for MacOS!
SmartAmp Configuration Tool is now available for Windows and MacOS devices. Installers for which can be found via the software page on the Optimal Audio website.
