ZonePad 8 is not receiving power
ZonePad 8 is powered in two different ways. Power over Ethernet (PoE) via the supplied adapter or using the 12v in-wall power supply (ASM100427). See ZonePad 8 - Connecting ZonePad 8 for more details.
If using PoE, ensure that your network switch supports PoE. If it does, check that ZonePad 8 is connected to a PoE port.
IMPORTANT - Do not connect ZonePad 8 directly to the controller ports of Zone. Controller ports are for ZonePad 1 and ZonePad 4 controllers only. Connecting ZonePad 8 may cause damage to your Zone.
'No Internet' showing on ZonePad 8
If you are powering ZonePad 8 using the 12v power supply only, it must be connect to your network via Wifi. Please refer to Connecting ZonePad 8 for further details.
If no internet is showing when ZonePad 8 is connected via PoE, ensure that the network switch you are connected to is receiving internet connection from your router.
Stuck on connecting/syncing screen
Check that connection to WebApp from a browser is possible. If persistent, on ZonePad 8, swipe down from the top to access the navigation menu. Use the refresh button to reload the page.
Alternatively, use the back button to return to the main menu, check that your Zone is still appearing in connected devices, then attempt reconnection.
Zone not appearing on ZonePad 8
Ensure that your Zone is connected to the same network as the ZonePad 8. Depending on the complexity of your network, it may take a couple of seconds for ZonePad 8 to detect Zones. Use the refresh button to search for connections.
'Connection Error' or Blank Screen
When ZonePad 8 boots and attempts connection to a Zone before the Zone has booted, a white 'connection error' screen can occur. Boot times for Zone have been reduced for WebApp version 1.6.0 to prevent this. If you do experience a white screen, wait for your Zone to boot fully, on ZonePad 8 swipe down from the top to reveal the menu, click the back arrow, reselect the Zone you are trying to connect to.

In order to protect your system, the WebApp settings menu is not accessible from ZonePad 8. Settings can still be accessed from any other browser based WebApp connection.
