The log files of a Zone processor unit contain vital information in helping our support team diagnose any potential issues you might be having with your Zone controller or WebApp.
If you are asked by our support team to supply the log.txt file from your Zone, please follow these steps.
Connected to WebApp
- Navigate to Settings > Maintenance (WebApp versions older than 1.3.0 will state Installer settings)
- Click Application Log > Download Log
- A log.txt file will appear in the downloads of your browser
- Attach the downloaded log.txt file to your support enquiry
Direct from SD Card
If connection to WebApp is not possible, follow these steps.
- Remove SD Card from the rear of Zone
- Insert SD Card into computer slot/adapter
- Copy log.txt file into your support enquiry
