A 3-band equaliser (EQ) is included on all available microphones in WebApp.
For System Mics and Talk 8 Paging Mics, the EQ is accessed via Settings > Microphones > System/Paging Mic 1/2 > Input Processing - EQ.
For local mic inputs connected to a ZonePad 1, the EQ is available via Settings > Zones > Select zone with connected ZonePad 1 > Zone Microphone Input.
By default, a 160Hz high pass filter is applied to all microphone inputs. This is an optimal filter to allow for clear speech through your loudspeakers. The additional 3-band parametric EQ gives you more control, should you need to tune the microphone further.
To enable an EQ band, simply check the 'Enable Band' box. The numbered node on the EQ graph and corresponding bar below the graph will become highlighted. You can then select your filter type from one of five options - High pass, Low pass, High shelf, Low shelf and Peak.
Adjustments to an EQ band can be made by either dragging the node around the graph or by entering specific details into the Frequency (Hz), Gain (dB) or Q boxes below.
