Tone Generator
All Zone controllers have a tone generator built in for installation troubleshooting and routing. This is accessible via WebApp under Settings > Tools.
The tone generator is only routed to Zone 1 and assignable frequency from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The level control can be set from -60dB to 0dB. In order to route a tone signal to outputs, they must have their output source selected as Zone 1.
Warning: it is possible to create a sound level at the maximum possible that the unit can reproduce, posing a risk of damaging speakers. Please use with extreme caution and always keep the level low before enabling. We recommend resetting the level back to -60dB after each use.
Metering
The metering section of WebApp can be used to monitor input and output signal in your system.
All meters in the DSP can be seen here for viewing the system signal flow in one place. Meters will display dB (peak) information from -114dB to 0dB. The meters will turn red if signal is clipping.
There are also limiter indicators for output channels.
The example below is taken from our WebApp Desktop Demo app, which simulates signal processing in WebApp.
