Create Passcode
If you need to lock out access to the settings of your Zone, a passcode can be assigned in WebApp by entering the Settings and navigating to Security.
Previously found under Settings > System > Passcode prior to WebApp 1.5.
Click the Passcode checkbox and enter a 4-digit pin. On first time setup of a passcode you will be asked to confirm the passcode before proceeding.
Returning to the WebApp Home Screen you will now see a lock icon next to the Settings button. Click the lock icon to enable passcode entry to the Settings section. The Settings are now locked.
Important - entering the Settings using a passcode will unlock the section. You will need to re-lock it after making any changes by clicking the lock icon again.
Changing Passcode
If you need to change the passcode for any reason, simply follow the same steps you made to create the passcode, but click 'Change Passcode' when this appears. You will be asked to enter a new passcode that will replace the previous one. As before, you will need to confirm your new passcode before proceeding.
Removing Passcode
Removing the passcode from your system is as simple as entering the Security Settings and unchecking the passcode requirement box.
