The ZonePad VL1 is a passive, single-dial volume controller for the Optimal Audio SmartAmp range. It mounts in a standard back box and connects via a 3-pin terminal block.
Connecting VL1 to SmartAmp
Note - Always power off the SmartAmp before wiring or unwiring the VL1.

Start using your VL1
- With the SmartAmp powered off, fit the VL1 info its back cox and connect the supplied 3-pin terminal block.
- Set the SmartAmp front-panel channel gain to the desired maximum level - the VL1 attenuates to from this point.
- Power up the SmartAmp and apply signal.
- Rotate the VL1 dial fully anti-clockwise (min) then clockwise (max) to confirm smooth level control.
